Every where I go and most every day,  I meet people who are amazingly creative. Sometimes I am fortuate enough to meet these lovely people face-to-face, and other times I meet them only through their websites or blogs. But either way, these relationships encourage, challenge, and support me.  These creative friends make all kinds of arts and crafts - sometimes functional, always beautiful.  In the best of cases, I discover a friend who makes something beautiful and  delicious - ah, food as art - how perfect!  Anyway, this page is devoted to my journey and the sites I visit along the way.

Tracy S. Deitz

I often suffer from information overload.  There are so many choices, so much to learn and understand, and so many people with whom to interact.  While I love the easy access to information on the internet, I am selective about the websites I visit and try to avoid chasing every rabbit down the bunny trail - that is, spending time clicking on every link rather than living my life!  With that being said, I often drop by the website of my favorite Christian author, Tracy Deitz, to read her Devotions for a fresh perspective, encouragement, and gentle reminders of God's love.

A mug of steaming tea and a few minutes of peaceful meditation . . .  a wonderful rememdy for my scattered thoughts. Tracy's latest entry seemed to speak directly to me.  I am always afraid of making mistakes, always eager to please, and really way too concerned with trying to "get it right."  Her blog post, Make No Mistake, gave me new insight and a little dose of courage for the long haul. Thank you, Tracy!

Donna Drexler's Photic Images

So nice to meet another Donna.  This Donna is a friend of my sister-in-law.  She is an awesome photographer based in Florida with a great appreciation for nature.  Her photos make me wishful for travel and adventure.  Donna's website is full of practical information for the aspiring shutter bug.  Like me, she believes that every moment has a story . . . and her pictures help to tell those stories.   Stop by her newly launched website for a visit.
