My Story
My goal is to capture real people in real life settings with real expressions. I love getting to know and photograph people of all ages and seasons of life – children, families, expectant mothers, newborns, high school graduates, and senior citizens. I will not pose you in some stiff and artificial manner. I photograph on location in places that have meaning for you and your family like the park, your backyard, the Spotsylvania Courthouse Battlefield, or down near the beautiful Rappahannock River.
I use natural light, best in the early morning and late afternoon, to create a soft and natural glow in your photographs. Most people are relaxed and happy when they are doing something they enjoy, so photo sessions may include friends, pets, and symbols of favorite hobbies such as a musical instrument, soccer ball, or favorite toy. I love images that capture something meaningful in candid, casual photographs of everyday moments. I use a digital SLR camera (Cannon Rebel XT). Photos are taken in color and can be converted to black and white and sepia tone.
My photographs are perfect for scrapbook layouts, sharing with friends and family in frames, cards (thank you, birth announcements, holidays), and online albums and websites.
